Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
Topping (Optional but Recommended)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease 6 large muffin cups or line with paper liners.

- Add egg, vegetable oil, and milk. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples gently.
- Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling just below the rim.
- For the topping, combine sugar, butter, flour, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Mix with a fork until crumbly, then sprinkle over the muffins.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
