Baked Spinach Cheese Balls Recipe

This is an appetizer or can also be used as a snack that is very easy to make and delicious to eat with family and friends when relaxed.
- 1 box (9 oz) Green Giant (frozen chopped
spinach, thawed, squeezed to drain)
- 1 cup Original Bisquick (mix)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 cup tomato pasta sauce, heated, if desired
Heat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with
cooking spray.
In large bowl, mix all ingredients except pasta
sauce. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls; place on
cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Immediately remove from pan. Serve with warmed
pasta sauce
To quickly thaw spinach, cut small slit in center of
pouch; microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes or until
thawed. Remove spinach from pouch; squeeze dry
with paper towels.

- 3 cups Original Bisquick (Mix)
- 1 lb bulk pork sausage
- 4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon dried rosemary leaves (crushed)
- 1½ teaspoons chopped fresh parsley (or ½ teaspoon parsley flakes)
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with
cooking spray.
In large bowl, stir all ingredients until well mixed.
Shape mixture into 1-inch balls; place in pan.
Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until no
longer pink in center. Immediately remove from pan.
Serve warm.
More delicious when served hot and can also be paired with cold and fresh drinks.
